A Bridge Connecting the Old and the New on Bagdat Avenue: Euphrates

Bagdat Avenue is one of the most popular destinations in the city; with its shopping spots lined up along the road, cafes brimming with energy, and a culture all its own. It is the first stop people escape to when they seek a break from the chaos of Istanbul despite all its crowd.

Our house Euphrates, located on Bagdat Avenue that separates the coast from the rest of the city, takes its name from the fascinating Euphrates river. The origin of the word comes from the Arabic word "farahat", which means “a state of carefreeness and comfort”. Thus, our house promises that everyone who stays here will have a comfortable and carefree experience.

When we first saw the desirable location of our house, the stunning view, and the marble & wooden floors full of stories, we set the course of our interior design adventure, and we immediately started working to bring this vision to you.

The Home You Know and Love Under Your Feet with Contemporary Approaches

With its large terrace that allows you to see the Bosphorus and the city with all its charm, its framework where you can breathe the traces of the past, and its interior design that manages to impressively combine the dynamic energy of the future with these features; Euphrates aims to offer you a serene city life in the comfort of your home.

From the moment you walk through the door, our house welcomes you warmly with its wooden accents. Euphrates, with its structure that we are familiar with from the houses where our families were born and raised, is no longer an average flat at the very first step and becomes a home with all its comfort. Our goal when designing Euphrates was to lay the home you know and love under your feet with contemporary approaches.

We chose blue for our walls to bring the fascinating color of Marmara to our house, where the wood embraces you, and to make you feel the Bosphorus right next to you. Our blue walls, which contrast with our traditional-looking furniture that creates the impression of coming from our grandmothers' house, also added a modern atmosphere to our home, as if to tell us that we are not just sticking to the past and that we embrace innovation.

With custom-made sinks and bathtubs, we did not leave the design we had in mind only in the living room and bedrooms but aimed to preserve the atmosphere of Euphrates in every room of the house.

We wanted to convey the differences between generations, the transition between the sea and the city in all its splendor in our design, and our spacious house Euphrates became a bridge for us in this transfer.
